Khmil' T. The usage of peptide preparation "Vermilat" in complex therapy of patients ill with parodontitis

The thesis is devoted to the study of the therapeutic effectiveness of the new peptide preparation "Vermilat" in the conditions of the experimental model of autoimmune parodontitis and in the clinic at complex therapy of patients with parodontitis of mild and average forms of tne disease as a connective tissue metabolism corrector. It has been proved that while using the polypeptide preparation "Vermilat" the collagenolithis activity is decreased, the reconstruction of the corrective matrix with the innibited collagenolithic activity in the parodontum tissues is accelerated. For the first time in the treatment of patients with cronical generalized parodontitis of mild and average forms of the disease the "Vermilat" has been used, an evident therapeutic effect has been found out. The designed and used in the dental curing practic new method of parodontitis pathogenic treatment using "Vermilat" preparation allows to shorten the course of treating and to achieve stable remission.
