Essay

The role and place of the pianist heritage by Mussorgsky in European pianoforte culture is defined in this thesis. For the first time explicitly and comprehensively reform of the pianism by Mussorgsky and her influence on further development of piano art is parsed. A way to reform of the pianism and her conditionality by characteristics of the person, which are connected, to distinctive features of temperament of the composer also is considered. Besides, the problem of use by Mussorgsky of expressive possibilities „new" piano in building the musical form is studied and the main tendencies in interpretation of the remarkable piano composition by Mussorgsky „Pictures at an Exhibition" are researched.
