Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the research on CaO-Al2O3-HfO2 system with the aim of obtaining new kinds of refractory cement featuring a complex of preset physical and technological properties. The thesis presents the results of theoretical and experimental tests of the system which made it possible to prove the radical possibility of AHfC-synthesis on the basis of hydraulically active and refractory compounds of the system. Concrete was tested for melted rare metal damping. The results are desirable for use.
