Tsvyak L. Adjectives with the meaning of lighting in modern German (distributive-statistic analysis)

Adjectives expressing lighting in modern German. Establishment of interrelations between words in the middle of LSG of German adjectives expressing lighting. The following research methods have been used: distributive-statistical analysis, psycholinguistic experiment. Establishment of specific features of the semantics of adjectives expressing lighting, its correlation with the semantics of nouns, obtaining the exact composition and structure of the LSG (nucleus, main items, periphery). A new approach to the analysis of the semantic structure of words is proposed, improvements are introduced into the psycholinguistic method of studying semantics of polysemantic words, the strength of semantic relations between adjectives "light", "dark", "dull" is determined. The main spheres of application are lexicography, applied linguistics, educational process.
