Essay

The object of the investigation is continuous functions. The purpose of the investigation is exact upper estimation. The method of the investigation is method of the approximation theory . We obtained exact upper estimation of Lq norm of difference between a continuous function and its constant of the best Lp approximation. Various methods and techniques of the theory of approximation are used. We found the values of widths and linear widths of the classes H? in the spaces of Orlicz .
