Essay

Problems of the plates and shallow shells theory. Creating the method for decision of problems on vibrations shallow shells with any plan based on the R-function theory, developing constructive tools of the R-function theory, creating a new software of computer modeling for the problems of the plates and shallow shells theory. Methods: sharing of a relational database and bases of rules in a format IF-THEN-ELSE, which simulate algorithms of the decision on the basis of variational methods, method consecutive loading, method of Newton - Kantorovich, theory of R-functions. The new method for decision of problems about vibrations of shells is created on the basis of the R-function theory. The new structure of the decision for shells with cuts on a free part of a surface is constructed . The applied problem-oriented system POLE-SHELL for computer modeling for problems of the plates and shallow shells theory by the information submitted on professional language of the engineer - mechanics is created. The re sults are used in work of the DAMandCM the A.N. Podgorny Institute for mechanics engineering problems of NAS of the Ukraine and in educational process NTU "KhPI". Further application of the achievements of science to production is planned. Sphere of use is aircraft and turbine engineering.
