Object of the research: breeding herds of dairy cattle. Purpose of the research: founding, development ant approvement of the new methods of breeding value estimation for dairy cattle. Methods of the research: BLUP, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis. Theoretical and practical results: efficiency of use of Animal Model was studied, breeding plans were made. Novelty: the new selection index for selection of dairy cattle by set of traits was developed. Area of implementation: agricultural units. Branch of use: agriculture.
