Essay

Patients with herpetic keratitis and adenoviral keratoconjunctivitis, experimental animals (rabbits). The opti mal doses of viaferon were defined for clinical usage. It was found out that the efficacy of viaferon usage is 92,5% in the therapy of herpetic keratitis, in the therapy in adenoviral kerato-conjunctivitis is 100% and the terms of patient treatment are reduced in 3-5 days in comparison with human leukocytic interferon. Clinical, immunological, statistical and histomorphological. The methods have been instiled into ophtalmological departments and polyclinics. The field of usage is ophtalmology and medicine.
