Essay

The tesis is dedicated to development of production process for applying protective coatings to production tools followed by finishing. On the basis of perfected process characteristic criteria, calculation of energy and kinematical parameters for gas-detonation application of coating on production tools with the use of new energy carrier - propane-butane - is made. The method for organizing production process on the basis of selection of efficient spraying conditions is offered. In order to find ways to improve product user-friendly features and determine directions of technical improvement, competitiveness of the equipment and elaborated production processes has been evaluated. The basic results of this work have been adopted for hardening and restoring the parts of production tools used for manufacture of the gas-turbine aero-engines at Motor Sich JSC, Zaporozhye, Ukraine.
