Essay

The macrotheriofauna from 50 species mammals from 40 localities was discrided. 11 species was first reported for Ukrainian territory. A new species was erected. The large mammals Kuchurganian, Moldavian, Khaprovian, Tamanian, Tiraspolian complexes were characterized. The stages of historical chance of mammal complexes were determined, the relict and dominanting species and those new at several stages of the development of the complexes were indicated.
