Gorbach N. Harmfulness of weeds and improvement of system for winter wheat protection cereals in the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine

Subject of research: weed population of sowings of a winter wheat in the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. Object of research: harmfulness of weeds and improvement of system for winter wheat protection in the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. Objective: improvement of system for winter wheat protection in the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. Methods of research: field experiments for determination of relationship between yield and methods of influence on it. Results: Improved system for winter wheat protection in Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine with usage of modern her-bi-ci-des provides increase of yield and economic figures in comparison with basic system. Novelty: for the first time on the basis of complex investiga-tion of weed harmfulness improvement of winter wheat protection system under conditions of Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine was substantiated with use of modern herbicides. Degree of introduce: results were adopted at area of 42 ha in Kiev region (49?56' northern latitude) in 1998-1999 on average-ripe variety. Sector of use: agriculture.
