Essay

The dynamics and stability of envelope solitons and vortices in the non-equilibrium plasma systems. Methods - analytical methods of theoretical physics, numerical simulations. New exact soliton solutions with nonlinearly changing phase are found. Theoretical calculations of 1D hybrid plasma solitons are performed. 1D and 2D solitons and vortices are investigated both analytically and numerically. The bistability phenomenon - coexistence of two stable solitons or vortices with the same nonlinear frequency shift but with different plasmon numbers - was proved. The regions of soliton stability with respect to Cherenkov radiation are found. The field of application is plasma theory.
