Grytsenko R. Organization and Functioning of Banking Supervision

The dissertation is devoted to examination of the institutional nature of the banking supervision, to researching its general and specific functions. The dissertation defines the nature of the banking supervision as a specific institution of banking activity, that includes the institution-of-limitations, institution-of-organizations, transactions of rationalizing and transactions of management. The thesis addresses the issues of improving quality and independence of banking supervision. Also issues of an interdependency between the banking supervision, external audit and independent rating agencies are discussed in the paper. This thesis offers an improved structure and mechanism of bank supervision in contemporary conditions in Ukraine. The results of conducted research approved by scientific conferences and could be used in lecturing on course "Banking".
