The object of research - the policy of two German states (FRG and GDR), and of states - winners towavds Germany. Тhe aim of research - on the basis of complex analysis of a qreat number of sourses to determine the main reasons and to reconstruct the main stages of German Unification. Methods of research - methods: historical, logical (system-structural), method of periodization, problem-chronological, comparative-historical, statistical, retrospective; principles: of historism, multifactoral, sincretism. Theoretical results and novelty - for the first time in Ukrainian historical science an attempt of complex and systematical research of the genesis of ''German question'' and its decision, was made. Practical results and novelty - facts and generalized results may be used in deepening analysis and scientific prognosis on the perspectives of FRG's European policy and on the development of contemporary FRG - Ukrainian relations. The subject and the degree of inculcation - the process of FRG and GDR Unification in 1989 - 1990. The effectiveness of inculcation - in working out and teaching of lectural courses on ''The History of international relations'', ''The History of Diplomacy'', ''Politology'' and a number of specialized courses. The sphere of use - the analysis and analysis and scientific prognosis on the perspectives of FRG's European policy and on the development of contemporary FRG - Ukrainian relations .
