This dissertation is dedicater to studying clinical,endoscopic and morphofunctional features of first-time revealed duodenal peptic ulcer, as well as working out the methods for its treatment using up-to-bate antisecretory drugs combined with Helicobacter pylori - eradication therapeutic courses. The patients with first-time revealed peptic ulcer were proved to have the atypical course with reduced manifestation, had the higher prevalence of dyspeptic variant over painful, and greater frequency of latent forms incidence. These changes were morphologically visualized as an increased disturbance of gastro-duodenal mucosa, presence of the hemorragic component, more frequent erosion incidence as well as hyperplastic and superficial changes. Helicobacter pylori persistence, degree of insemination, expanded area of Helicobacter pylori-infection were associated with these changes. In treatment of patients with Helicobacter pylori-positive forms it is necessary to use antisecretory preparations combined with eradicative triple therapy. In case of Helicobacter pylori-negative forms - antisecretory preparations and dalargin.
