Essay

The dissertation is devoted to studing hypertrophic form of autoimmune thyroiditis (HFAT) in process of therapy with low-intensive laser radiation (LILR). Using ultrasonic, radioimmunologic, immunologic methods, rosette forming, single immunoinfusion in gel, selective precipitation of antigen-antibody complexes; laser apparatus "Adept" the LILR possibilities in HFAT treatment by estimation of structural functional state of the thyroid gland and immunologic indices in the process of laser therapy and in later period were characterized. It was revealed that LILR improves the structural state and stimulates the functional activity in the thyroid gland, normalizes indices of immunity in patients with HFAT; LILR use can permit to increase the effect of traditional therapy in complex treatment of HFAT. A complex examination of LILR effect on structural functional state of the thyroid gland and indices of cellular and humoral immunity was firstly performed in HFAT patients with different functional state of the thyroid gland. Later results of treatment were firstly revealed. Data obtained can be used in the treatment of HFAT patients with different functional state of the thyroid gland and in lectures on endocrinology in medical institutions.
