Gritsun O. Regriuping of the social and political forces in the United States during elections (the 1980s presedential and congressional campaingns)

The dissertation is a complex research on the problem of the partisan cycles in congressional and presidential elections, the social changes which were held in the U.S. on the background of the definitions of the American history, chronology, causes and conditions of the political regrouping; party campaigning and electral reform in the 1980s. The main problem is the working-out of the scientific approach which would allow to summarize the data about elections, to systematize the assessments of the former leadership, to find out new facts of the position changes. the dynamics of public choice and commentary on the most important historical tendencies. It was this that gave an opportunity to rely not only on the main issues, not to put into research a wide range of executive, legislative and governmental documents, to use scientific category "vote-basic persona" and the descriptive statistics devices.
