Object of the investigation - patients with chronic hepatitis (CH) and hepatic cirrhosis (HC). With the purpose of establishment of diagnostic significance of the state of bile-formation and bile-excretion functions of the liver in patients suffering from CH and HC of alcoholic and cryptogenic origin with moderate and marked activity of the pathological process in the liver, and grounds pathogenetic therapy in these patients. Basing upon the studies of clinical, biochemical, immunological and morphological manifestations in 131 patients with CH and HC, clinical and laboratory criteria, which reflect the impairment of state of bile formation and bile excretion depending upon the form, etiologic factors and activity of a pathological process in the liver were found. It is proved that the impairment of bile excretion is manifested by different forms of dysfunctions of the gallbladder and biliary system sphincters. The bile-formation impairment is characterized by changes in biochemical properties of bileand enterohepatic circulation of bile acids. The way of treatment CР and HC is offered which has allowed to increase efficiency of treatment of these patients. The method was provide into work of hospitals of. Kharkovs and Kharkov region.
