Popov V. Public and cultural links of the peoples of Austria-Hungary with Ukrainians in 60-80 years of XIXth century.

The objects of the dissertation are the contacts between ethnic groups in Central Europe in the period of national renascence. The aim of the dissertation is the researching of the substance, of the main forms and demonstrations of social links between Ukrainians and Austrian and Slavonic nations of Austria-Hungary, of the cultural interaction of these nations. The methods are: comparatively-historical, chronological, structural-complex, logical-analytic, the method of historical analysis. In dissertation there are offered the periodisation of activity of the Ukrainian democratic organisations in Austria in 60-80 years of XIXth century, discovered the existence in studied period of several centres of Austrian-Ukrainian cultural cooperation, introduced into the histography a lot of new names of Austrian cultural figures – the participants of this contacts.
