Essay

The theory of generalized optimization and special numerical methods are built for models described by pseudoparabolic, pseudohyperbolic and Sobolev-type equations. A priori inequalities in negative norms are received. The theorems about solvability of boundary value problems are proved. Impulse, point and zonal controllability problems are studied. The procedure of control parametrization is investigated in general case. Cost functional smoothness is studied for optimization problem with general controlling function and cost functional. The convergence and stability of approximate control methods are studied.
