Essay

The dissertation deals with an improvement of diagnosing renal and pulmonary disorders in patients with rheumatoid arthritis due to the use of the interphase tensiometry of the urine and the expired air moisture condensate. It determines individual factors affecting the incidence and course of rheumatoid glomerulonephritis, interstitial nephritis, renal amiloidosis, pleurisy, diffuse interstitial fibrosis, fibrosing alveolitis, rheumatoid pulmonary nodules. It also studies the state of the lung surfactant in animals with experimental adjuvant arthritis. When physicochemical methods of study are used renal and pulmonary pathology is diagnosed by 4.2 and 4.7 times more frequently, resfectively, as compared with the conventional examination; whill the efficacy of treating nephropathy and pneumopathy depends on the initial physicochemical properties of the urine and the expired air moisture condensate. Glucocorticoid hormones produce a positive effect on the biophysical state of the urine, while systemic enzymotherapy - on the expired air parameters.
