Essay

The features of nonequilibrium charge carrier transport in not-uniform deformed single-crystal and porous silicon are studied. It is established that the shape of the photoconductivity and photovoltage spectra is caused by graded band of the por-Si amorphous matrix and the different values of the band gap widths of the silicon crystallites. The presence of the effective transport of nonequilibrium charge carriers in the direction perpendicular to por-Si surface was found.
