Essay

On the basis of clinical observation, the anatomic features of oral cavity were revealed that promote the appearance of breakages in plastic bases of removable dental prostheses. With a use of an original model of oral cavity the mathematical modeling, a method was proposed for forecasting a probability of the appearance of breakage in plastic bases of removable dental prostheses at the stage of patients examination. Using the comprarative approach, on the bases of both theoretical study and laboratory trials, anovel original method was proposed for the reinforcement of removable prosthetic bases with a use of polyaramide fibers. In addition, a method was proposed for nondestructive testing of polymerization quality for plastic bases of removable dental prostheses.
