Burdin V. Peculiarities of criminal responsibility of juveniles in Ukraine

The dissertation deals with the complex of problems, connected with peculiarities of juveniles' criminal responsibility in Ukraine. Taking into consideration the development of domestic and foreign legislation on juveniles' criminal responsibility, social and psychological peculiarities of juveniles' development a point of view is reasoned about the expedience of further differentiation of their criminal responsibility. On the base of current researches in the sphere of psychology, pedagogy, analysis of judicial statistics, establishment of a new criminally-relevant age period is suggested. A thought is reasoned about the necessity of imposing new kinds of criminal punishment for juveniles, which are not connected with imprisonment. In the dissertation one offers actual suggestion, probational discharge of serving their sentences, conditional discharge before the appointed time.
