3. Object of research: Delia brassica і Delia floralis, Delia antigua, Psila rosae, Eumerus strigatus. Objective: Expending of biological peculiarities of performance, studies of population dynamics, damage of vegetable crops at affection by dipterous pest insects in the Central Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine and improvement of measures for suppression these pests. Methods of research: field, laboratory, mathematical. Results: In has been studied features of the biology of the dipterous pest insect in the Central Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine and impact of a biotic factors on their life cycle. In a result of the studies, the following data have been stated: factors, which determine terms of emergence from sites of hibernation; analysis of population dynamics; damage of vegetable crops depending on population density of the insects and stage of plant ontogenesis, optimal condition of usage of chemical and colored traps for monitoring of the pests; character of effects of microbiological preparation depending on instars of larvae and their after-effect on pupal and imaginal. Novelty: In the first time, it has been substantiated the indices of sum of effective temperatures in the soil up to depth 10 cm and amount of productive moisture of the soil as factors, which determine a term of emergence of dipterous herbivores from places of hibernation; positive correlation between the number of emerged larvae and hydrothermal coefficient. Degree of introducing: the results of research were proved in SFG "Mriya" in Kyiv Region, and can be used in private husbandry of the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. Sector of use: agrigulture.
