Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the definition of the left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) development risk criteria, caused by different etiological factors. In this work for the first time a general characteristic of genotype which favours the manifestation of LVH is given with indication of its markers. It is determined that under LVH of different genesis the unidirectional changes of heart productive functioning in rest is observed. Worsening of transmitral flow indexes under all types of LVH is shown. In all groups of metabolism indexes changes of the same type are determined. The expedience of HLA - typing is substantiated. Performing of Doppler echocardiography, Holter monitoring and exercise test under LHV is recommended. Practical advice for early LVH diagnostics and propositions for professional sportsmen selection are introduced.
