The dissertation is devoted to the research of theoretical and practical aspects of formation and development of international financial relations of commercial banks under transition period. The paper uncloses the essence and role of commercial banks in the international financial system. The classification of financial activities if commercial banks of Ukraine is developed. Its special features, barriers and essential features of mechanism of its implementation is researched. The content of the mechanism, including legal forms and principles, organizational and economic tools and the trends of its optimization are determined. The complex methodology of evaluation of efficiency of international financial operations of commercial banks is developed. The priority trends of development of international financial relation under transition period is grounded.
