Essay

The process of potato tubers yield formation and their keeping quality at various fertilizer systems and primary tillage methods of the sward-podzolic sandy loam soil. To improve the potato growing technology elements. The research methods are field, vizual, weight, chemical, mathematical and statistical, calculated. The effect of fertilizer system and soil tillage on fertility indices, potato yield and quality is established. The litter manure and mineral fertilizer doses permitting to get 400 hkg/ha of tubers are determined. The most effective primary tillage method allowing to increase the yield by 40 % in comparison with the existing technology is ascertained. The authors developments have been applied in some Zhitomir region farms over an area of 70 ha, what secures the increase sn yield by 45 hkg/ha.The field of applying is agricultural production.
