Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the increase of effectiveness of treating patients with chronic maxillary sinusitis by medication of systemic enzymotherapy. Resulting from the series of experiments aimed at researching biochemical and microbiological properties of polyenzymic preparations wobe-mygos E and phogenzyme, it was investigated that they are capable of splitting high- and low molecular protein compounds of natural and syntetic origin. It was discovered that these preparations have bacteriostatic influence on grampositive and gramnegative microflora. The joint treatment of both polyenzymic preparations and antibiotics of wide spectre of action was accompanied by the reduction of sensitive microflora resistense.
