Essay

The dissertation is devoted to improving commutator propulsion motors by means of enhancement of their commutation performance. On the basis of the conducted computations, a technique for calculating magnetic circuit of auxiliary poles is advanced to take into account eddy currents reaction. New approaches for increasing commutator propulsion motor reliability are suggested, the approaches based on the auxiliary pole super excitation method.
