Bereznichenko N. Foreign investments in the system of factors of economic modernization of Ukraine

The thesis deals with the comparative analysis of the experience in attracting foreign investments during the two periods of industrial modernization of Ukraine's economy: early industrial modernization at the end of 19th - the beginning of the 20th century and modern market modernization, in the conditions of economic globalization. The thesis investigates theoretical and methodological fundamentals of the modernization process as a phenomenon of the industrial age, which provides a basis for the analysis of objective prerequisites (both internal and external), task and aim, directions and forms, economic and social consequences of this process, as well as of the role, place and mechanism of attracting foreign investments as a factor that intensifies the process. The work examines specific features of the contemporary modernization process in Ukraine, gives its evaluation, formulates the author's vision of the ways, directions and forms of its realization taking into account external provision sources.The author gives and substantiates theoretical and practical proposals for improving the investment climate and suggests ways to improve the mechanism of attracting foreign investments into the economy of Ukraine. princ
