Melnyk P. The legal protection of the forests of the Carpathian Region in Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to a complex and thorough research of the legal protection of the Carpathian forests in Ukraine. In the thesis the issue concerning a notion of forests is considered. The peculiarities of the legal defense of the forests of the Carpathian Region in Ukraine are explored, the matter and notion of the defense are revealed. The circle of bodies accomplishing public administration in the branch of Carpathian forests protection is determined and their activity is analyzed. Some questions on legal liability for violations of forest regulation are considered. The complex exploration of the legislative acts concerning legal protection of the Carpathian region's forests is made. In the thesis the conceptual points are formulated, new proposals as to improvement of legal protection of the Carpathian region forests are grounded.
