Dmytriyeva V. The Urban Peculiarities in Ukraine of the Middle of 20-th Years of the XX-th Centure: Data Base Technologies and Methods of Mathematical and Statistical Analysis.

The object is the urban settlement in Ukraine of 1920-th years as system that reflects the situation of society development. The main aim is to elaborate and realyse the technology of analysis of social and economical situation in Ukraine town settlements as the result of urban processes that taken place in Ukraine at the moment of general sensus of 1926 year. Methods of historiography and source study analysis (historical and henetycal, historical and chronological, comparative, historical and typological), infomational technologies, structural and functional analysis (pair correlations, principal components, clasters and descriptive statistics). The sens of use of mathematical and statistical methods in analitics and synthesis process is division of urban object on elements, reconstructuring of its relations and determining of main patterns of urbanisation. The materials of sensus of 1920-th years are sources of urban data. As the result of analysis the thesis offers five types of officional town settlements in Ukraine in middle of 1920-th years according to its social and economical state: rurban settlements with agriculture specialisation predominance, extencive use of land resources, little budget economy; settlements with intensive expluatation of land resources, predominance of agriculture and home-made industry, little budget economy; megapolices with intensive use of town lands, wide sphere of state financing and predominance of state trade circulating capital; technic and transport urban settlements with predominance of state trade circulating capital; town settlements as the historical administrative centers. The causes of social and economical condition differences of settlements in middle of 1920-th are the proportions of the state and private sectors of economy; the ways of forming of local budget; the forms of expluatation of town land resources; the technic level of settlements; the national structure influence on the directions of economy branches in town settlements.
