Molochek Y. Children rehabilitation after tonsillectomy

This thesis is devoted to the issues of increasing the effectiveness of treatment children with decompensated form of chronic tonsillitis in pre- and postoperative periods. Treatment using a newly invented method of patient's preparation for a surgery and using miramistin and quercetin granules after tonsillectonomy Observation results of 160 patients with a chronic form of decompensated tonsillitis in the period of 1997-2001 years were analyzed. From those 160, 120 children were in a main research group and other 40 were in a control group. In a thesis clinical, immunological, bacteriological, cytological methods of research were used. Experimental researches in vivo and in vitro state that mixture consisting of antiseptic medicine miramistin and vitamin-containing quercetin has a number of positive effects on both antigenicity factor and on mechanisms of unspecified resistance.
