Merkt O. Methodical bases of strategy of commercial seaport's development in competition environment

The dissertation is dedicated to the forming of methodical bases of Ukraine merchant seaport's development strategy in period of transition to market relations. The paper deals with strategic directions of world port system development in ХХІ century. There was definite theoretical regulations of Merchant seaport's competition environment forming, explored the methodical bases of seaports competitiveness level determination and offered new approach to it's computation. With the purposes of location and determination of priority factors, which affect ports competitiveness level, there was conducted a questionnaire inspection in seaports and contiguous enterprises. There was worked up and grounded conceptual model (scheme) of economic - organizational mechanism of competition ports strategy, considered a place and role of marketing in it's realization, formulated basic directions of this mechanism construction.
