Experimental animals (rabbits), patients with senile cataract. The aim - education of the role of the metabolic thyamin state in the pathogenesis of cataract. Methods of research are biomicroscopy, spectrophotometry, statistical. The experimental and clinicobiochemic results are indicative of an important role of the impaired metabolic thyamin state in the pathogenesis of senile cataract. Divising methods was added into the doctors courses and lectures. Sphere of use is the medecine, ophthalmology.
