Shutak O. Clinical and experimental substantiation of choosing constructive materials for making fixed dental prostheses

The thesis deals with the problem of choosing constructive materials for making fixed dental prostheses. The reason of removing fixed dental constructions, average term of their usage and constituent parts of various constructive materials in them have been established. The comparison has been made between the solidity of natural teeth and dental materials as well as their change at the stades of making prostheses. Some main criteria of choosing constructive materials have been theoretically substantiated. It has been proved that fixed dental prostheses, especially stamped and soldered ones with covering, influence the functional state of the human genome. The results have been confirmed by electronic and microscopic examination. On the basis of the obtained data f new construction of fixed prosthesis has been elaborated and introduced into clinical practice. Clinical trials have proved its advantage over the conventional dental prosthetic appliances. The patent Ukraine has been granted for this invention. The field of application is medicine.
