The dissertation reseach deals with the scientific-legal grounds of the administrative organization of the local organs of tax administration in Ukraine. According to the modern theory of the legal status a scientific characteristics of the local organs of tax administration in Ukraine is described. The research paper pays particular attention to the issues of legal regulation of management of the local organs of tax administration in Ukraine and the ways of improving their organization, analysis of their functions and authorities in the context of the administrative reform in Ukraine, the peculiarities of the legal status of the tax police as an organ with the special competence within the body of tax administration.
