Essay

The set of the rheological characteristics coal-water slurries was obtained by the basis of subbituminous and bituminous coal in the range of solid concentrations 40 - 55 %, at the temperature from 20 to 60 C and chloride of potassium concentration in slurries 0 - 3 mol/l. For the first time for the coal-water slurry from rheological dates are counted energies of particles interaction, parameters of aggregative stability, and their tycsotropy degrees. The phenomena of viscosity superanomaly in the coal-water slurry is revealed and established that increasing of temperature, and also introducing electrolytes 1-1 in the system decrease the extreme concentration of a solid phase. The plasticizing action of native and sulphonated humic acid salts in the coal-water slurry and its physical-chemical properties was investigated. It was proposed the method allowing instituting stability of humic acids salts solutions for the influence of strong electrolytes (thresholds of coagulation, stability of acids and salting-out). It has been shown the introducing sulphogroups considerably raises stability of solutions of humates to influence of strong electrolytes. It was established the sulphonated sodium humates are more effective plasticizers than the native ones for the coal-water slurries with high solid concentration. And the modified additives have higher salt and temperature stability. Keywords: rheology, coal-water slurry, viscosity superanomaly, plasticizer, alternative fuels, humic acids, mechanical activation .
