The object is 132 patients OA; the aim is to study of the peculiarities of the thyroid gland and immune, pro-and antioxydant systems; the methods are clinical, biochemical, radioimmune, morphological; the new approach lies in discovering an unfavurable influence of thyroid lesions on the course of OA and their effects on the therapeutic efficacy; results - an increase of disturbed equilibrium in the blood of pro- and antioxidant systems, the body is immune reactivity have been discovered, on an OA model a correlation of metabolic changes in the blood, hepatic tissue and morphologic changes of the articular cartilage, the chondroprotective action of erbisol have been proved; all this thesis has been developed by training and medicine practice; the field is medicine.
