Essay

The tsesis is devoted to the synthesis of "axial" substituted phthalocyanine complexes of titanium, zirconium, and hafnium. A new method of dichloro(phthalocyaninato)Ti(IV), Zr(IV), and Hf(IV) has been devised. The new mixed-ligand phthalocyanine complexes of Ti(IV), Zr(IV), and Hf(IV) with polyphenols, hydroxo-, sulfo-acids, dicarbonyles has been synthesized. It is shown that dicarbonyles are co-ordinated in a cis-geometry about the central atom of the macrocycle.
