In the thesis, on the basis of analysis of theoretical works of representatives of Ukrainian agrarian-legal science and agrarian legislation of Ukraine, are researched the process of creation and development of agrarian-legal science of Ukraine; makes analysis of its content, structure, interconnection with other legal sciences. One all-round researches general theoretical footings of science Agrarian Law of Ukraine. It is given a definition of science Agrarian Law and typical indications, grounded significance of agrarian legislation for formation and development of agrarian-legal science. One characterizes different scientific approaches to notion of Agrarian Law, as a branch of Law. One analyses scientific-legal footings of agrarian reform in Ukraine in detail; researches scientific problems of development of new legal institutions of Agrarian Law of Ukraine. One distinguishes and makes analysis of main directions of development of science Agrarian Law of Ukraine in modern period; researches concrete achievements of representatives of Ukraіnian agrarian-legal science.
