Marchenko M. Experimental research of compressibility of water-saturated loess foundations

Object - water-saturated loess foundations and regularities of their compressibility under loading with foundations; aim - development of special methodology of accompaniment, provision and analysis of the results of the experimental investigations of foundations compressibility parameters and engineering method of evaluation of buildings settlement on foundations slabs in soil conditions of Odessa; methods - experimental: field and natural methods with special methodological accompaniment and provision, accuracy and reliability of the means of measurements are confirmed with probable, calculation and static evaluations as well as author's certificates; novelty - for the first time detailed contents of the methodology of the qualitative and quantitative evaluation the soil foundations compressibility process parameters in field and natural conditions have been grounded; results - analysis and generalization of the long-term experimental investigations of water-saturated loess foundations compressibility under loading with stamps of different area and shape as well as with slab foundations of many-storeyed buildings have been done and their main regularities have been determined; application-fulfilment of economic agreements and state budget research works, special purpose complex scientific-technical programme 0.55.04.10 and in the development of two methodical recommendations; branch - tests of soil foundations compressibility and construction
