Essay

It was established that the chronic hepatitis B and C, viral-alcoholic and alcoholic hepatitis disturbances lead to bone mineral density decreasing. It depends on the durability of the disease. Osteopenic changes appear 2 years after the disease beginning. Osteoporosis appears 4 years after it. Glucocorticoids application for acute hepatitis with acute encephalopathy signs treatment leads to osteopenia development. Hypophosphataemia and normal calcium blood level were diagnosed in patients with chronic hepatitis and moderate liver function disturbances as well as patients with acute hepatitis B and C in a period with active clinical signs.
