The dissertation is devoted to improving of the treatment efficacy of chronic relapsing pancreatitis. Helicobacter pylori infection is detected in 86,5% of patients with chronic relapsing pancreatitis. These patients have as more significant clinical manifestation, as functional and structural changes of pancreas. It was proved that Helicobacter pylori promotes enzyme "deviation" into blood, progress of fibrosis and excretory pancreatic insufficiency. Helicobacter pylori infected patients with chronic relapsing pancreatitis in most cases develop erosive or ulcerative changes of gastroduodenal mucosa or increased gastric secretion. Intestinal metaplasia is detected more often in case of alcoholic pancreatitis accompanying with Helicobacter pylori infection. It's known that prescribing of antihelicobacter therapy results in clinical relief, decrease of enzyme "deviation" into blood, improvement of pancreatic functional state and sonographic signs.
