Essay

The object of investigation - is braking process of trailers (semitrailers) with pneumatic brake gear. Purpose of research: the work is aimed at increase of trailer pneumatic brake drive operation speed by matching of braking force regulator to air distribution valve. Methods of investigation: Using theoretical methods (analysis, synthesis, modeling and alignment criteria of air distribution and brake power controller combined in one apparatus has been developed. Physical and mathematical models of pneumatic brake gear including brake power controller with the functions of air distributions valve have been worked out. Developed models have been investigated by means of experiment, measuring and comparison. Equipment: semitrailers of 9370 model, imitator of tractor braking system, special stand for testing the pneumatic apparatus, oscillograph HO - 71.4 M, pressure transducers MP - 22518 and pressure indicators, electrical-magnetic valve "Bosch"-1824210104, throttle valve GA - 171/ 1B. Theoretical andpractical outcomes: in the dissertation physical and mathematical models have been developed including braking force regulator having functions of an air distribution valve; methods created to match braking force regulator to air distribution valve within one unit; criterion proposed how to braking force regulator to air distribution valve; braking force regulator having functions of air distribution valve designed as well as air distribution valve for two-way pneumatic brake drive and braking force regulator for trailers. Newness of newestablished: To investigate auto-braking process of trailing vehicle in case of feeding line breakup on the base of dynamic analysis of investigated object physical model of pneumatic braking gear including brake power controller with the functions of air distribution valve have been firstly developed by the use of gas-dynamic differential functions of ideal gas consumptions. Degree of establishing: main scientific tenets, practical and methodical works used and established atthe enterprises such as "Autocomponent", open joint-stock company "Poltava Motor-Aggregate Works", "AutoKrAz", Volchansk Aggregate Factory". Area of usage: automobile transport.
