Shusta T. Integration of Ukraine to the global competitive environment

The dissertation investigates theoretical and practical aspects of the integration of Ukraine to the global competitive environment. Structural components of the global competitive environment and factors influencing its formation are stated in this work. The modern development trends of the world competitive field are analyzed to reveal some peculiarities connected with methods of competitive struggle, appearance of the new leading countries and structural changes in the world economy. The author defines the preconditions of the cooperation of Ukraine with economies of other countries and economic organizations. The essence of the mechanism of the integration of Ukraine to the global competitive environment, which stipulates the use of the law forms and methods, institutional instruments and economic levers is characterised. The methodic of the assessment of the transition economies competitiveness is considered. Also, recommendations as to the improvement the domestic economy competitiveness are given in the dissertation. It is analysed the consequences of the joining Ukraine to GATT/WTO and defined their economic effect. The author founds the priorities of the integration of Ukraine to the global competitive environment, the main of which is the joining to the European Community.
