Mitina H. Synonymy in penitentiary lexical subsystem of modern English(functional-stylistic analysis).

The object of research -synonymy of penitentiary lexical sudsystem of English and methods of synonyms' function in texts of different genres. The aim of research- examination of synonymic relations within penitentiary lexical subsystem. The methods of research - comparative, descriptive, method of component analysis, quantative analysis, transfomal-substantive operations. Theoretical results and novelty - represented results of new approach to synonym's examination, elaboration of theoretic problems of functional stylistics and lexicology, and new taxonomic scheme of synonyms.Practical results and novelty - elaborated in common and English lexicology, at creating of study-methodic literature for law faculties' students, at interpretation, lexicographical work. The object and the level of realisation were realized in practice of education-tuition of educational establishment. The effect of realisation is high. The sphere of usage is pedagogical educational establishments.
