Essay

The dissertation is devoted to direct synthesis, structure and properties of the Cu/Co heterometallic complexes with aminoalcohols. The new synthetic procedures to heterometallic compounds have been elaborated and 31 novel Cu/Co heteromеtallic complexes have been prepared using those. The compounds were studied by IR-, EPR-spectroscopy, magnetochemistry and also tested for antitumour and antiviral activity. The crystal structures of the 9 new complexes have been determined by X-Ray single crystal analysis. Direct synthesis is shown to be a new promising area of research in chemistry of heterometallic compounds.
