Thesis dedicates to actual scientific problem - to make characteristics for hollow shafts of gas-turbine engines (GTE) in order to rise their fatigue strength. This problem is important for contemporary airplane engines construction. Scientific and systematic approach to realization methods and technical means for making GTE shafts characteristics has been provided. Such approach is based on construction and technological analysis of the GTE hollow shaft properties, prestress and deformed state of the surface layer that is optimized by energetic principles and researches.
